Dr. Boyd L. Baggett

Boyd L. Baggett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and a Juris Doctorate degree – both from Brigham Young University.   Before coming to higher education, he practiced law primarily in Idaho and Utah with some limited practice in other states.   His practice included criminal prosecution for the State of Idaho and a civil practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, and family law.

In 2008 Boyd became part of the Religious Education faculty at Brigham Young University – Idaho.  While teaching at BYU-Idaho he became involved in a study of outcomes, assessments, and accreditation beginning in 2010.  As ALO for BYU-Idaho, he has lead university efforts around assessment of student learning, mission alignment and fulfillment, institutional planning, and accreditation for several years.   He has also served on various committees for the NWCCU including his recent assignment on the Bylaws, Standards, and Policies Standing Committee.
