Mr. Kevin Melcher

Kevin worked as a school and district level administrator within the Elko County School District for more than 20 years. After his retirement from the school district, he was elected to the Board of Regents for the Nevada System of Higher Education in 2011. He also served on the Nevada Board of Education from 2013-2015 and again from 2019-2021. Kevin brings experience to the Community Foundation through his previous and current work with a number of nonprofits and fundraising organizations, including the Great Basin College Foundation, the Elko General Hospital Foundation, the UNR Alumni Council, and Rotary Club.
